In December of 1940, two people meet on a train headed east. May, shy and bookish, shares her seat with a handsome young flyer, Raleigh. They discover they are from neighboring towns in Appalachia, but have little else in common. She wants to be a missionary. He wants to be a great American writer. Raleigh decides to change trains for Kentucky, promising to take May to the next Nibroc Festival. Starring two accomplished artists—Erik Odom (“Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2”) and Lily Nicksay (“Boy Meets World”).
