Without question, this is one of the most comprehensive websites dedicated to a particular racetrack that can be found on the Internet. Anyone who is serious about playing Tampa Bay Downs, and turning a profit at the meet, definitely needs to have the information provided here at their fingertips.

  • Tom Williams says:

Staying ahead in the pari-mutuel arena requires access to insightful information that is not widely distributed, thereby diminishing it’s value. With his multi-angle trainer stats, pace profiles, and recognition of trainer intentions, Johnny B. stands far above the crowd. Want to be a winner at TBD this winter? Here’s the place to get a leg up on the competition.

  • BMK says:

Johnny B. is the hardest working handicapper at Tampa and his trainer profiles are the best in the business. He covers the most trainer angles, they are easy to understand and the Win and ITM
percentages are through the roof. Keep’em coming JB.

  • Dell Yount says:

HAPPY NEW YEAR JOHNNY B. and continued success in 2010!!!

  • Good Morning!!! thetampabaydownshandicapper.com is one of the most excellent resourceful websites of its kind. I enjoy reading it every day. Keep it that way.

  • DJB says:

Great work Johnny B. Nobody is doing better work than you. My subscription has paid for itself 10x over. Keep it coming…

  • I don’t normally comment on blogs but your post was a real call to action. Thank you for a great read….

  • Nice Articles, thanks for this, looking for your next post. Keep your good work….

  • I am impressed with this handicapping site and I’m a big fan of Tampa.

  • Bob Gary says:

This is an amazing site. I’ve been a subscriber for years. JB gives you info you can’t get anywhere else. If you play Tampa Bay at all, this is IT!!

  • Pony Girl JCM says:

The translator feature is a great addition to this page- Johnny B goes the distance to make it easy for all to get the most out of his great service-

  • Kim S says:

I’ve been a subscriber to your site for a few years. Last week I made my first trip to Vegas to play in the Horse Players’ World Series. On the third day of the contest, February 25th, I played your top pick “Father Lucey” who won the first race at 14-1. You also had the $2 exacta for $70.20 in the same race. Great pick! Thank you!!

Just listened to you on Dave Schwartz’s show (July 25th). I very much appreciated your down to earth, do your homework approach.

I am about to retire and would like to focus on my home track (Turf Paradise)in much the manner as you have done in Tampa. Not sure my wife will tolerate it though.

Anyway, bravo on being a winning horseplayer, that’s as good an epitaph as any.

    John

  • Howard says:

Just watched the webinar at dave schwartz’s website. Good show, I’m very impressed with your disciplined approach. I cant wait for the season to start at Tampa. Have you ever considered a second track during the 7+ months when Tampa is closed? Count me in as a new subsciber.

  • SS says:

John is providing information that would take the average player years to gather. His approach is one that provides information that can’t be obtained by reading the form or buying DRF’s formulator. That speaks volume’s in today’s technology world. A great piece to add to your handicapping tools!!!

  • PonyGirlJCM says:

It will be harder to pick winners without the great insight Johnny B has shared in the past with his subscribers- but look forward to him being back next year – will surely utilize that one free pick daily-
Hope he has great success in the meeting this year-
May all your wagers be winners—

  • Skippy King says:

You have made some very profitable calls the past week- thanks for your insight-

    Praise for John J. Barile’s
“The Horseplayer’s Guide To Advanced Trainer Profiling”

“Brilliant, thought provoking stuff. A breakthrough in trainer pattern recognition and betting technique!” – Peter Mallett , Author – A Bettor’s Guide to Racing at Tampa Bay Downs and Co-author Crushing The Cup

“I have been a Trainer Handicapper for 25 years and John takes trainer patterns to new heights! The Bullet Workout Pars sheet is worth the price of the book by itself.” – Jim Homestead @Fiveouttasix

“John’s in-depth multiple angle trainer statistics, many of which are unavailable anywhere else and are included in this book, are a must for anyone handicapping Tampa Bay Downs.” – Michael Cusortelli, Speedhorse Magazine

“Provides a potent, step-by-step method for winning with trainer angles. Quite frankly, it takes this kind of handicapping to a new level! – Bob “Pandy” Pandolfo, Author – Speed and Class Handicapping and Pace Handicapping Longshots

“Whether you are a serious handicapper or a weekend warrior, John Barile’s The Horseplayer’s Guide to Advanced Trainer Profiling will change the way you approach betting the races. No one has their finger on the pulse of Tampa Bay Downs more than John (I have followed his work over the last two years) and this primer on Multiple Angle Trainer Profiling (with key angles explained in detail) is certain to help handicappers zero in on the most playable races and improve their strike rates.” -Michael Compton

CONGRATULATIONS on your book – I have been utilizing John’s website for many years and look forward to reading his handicapping strategies guide- No one knows Tampa like Johnny B-

  • Skippy King says:

The fact that Johnny B is offering to reduce his subscription rate due to an off year shows that he has integrity…
His trainer profiles and other resources are well worth the price of admission at an cost….
I for one will definitely be back…….

  • PonyGirlJCM says:

John’s book was very informative……but still subscribe to his picks as he does the work and also adds a lot of different insight that only someone who is dedicated to Tampa would recall….
The reduced subscription offer is a great deal…….

  • Skippy King says:

Read this on a handicapping forum….
Other handicappers know Johnny B is the man when it comes to Tampa ….

I subscribed to the TampaBayDownsHandicapper http://thetampabaydownshandicapper.com/about) for the upcoming season. TBDH is our own UIC member JohnnyBatTBD! His multi-angle trainer stats are really insightful, no one else is putting out the stuff that he compiles. I’ll put in a shameless plug for him. I’ve followed his website for years, and I’ve sat next to him in the backyard at Saratoga a few times. This guy knows what he’s doing, plain and simple. Picks the right spots to play, wins year after year. He has trainer profiles like I use for Saratoga, but they are much more in-depth. Worth every dollar.
